I can’t claim authorship for this one. Yes, the concept was mine. I wrote the entire rant. Made all the points. But it came off as a dull piece. Limited humour. Weak narrative thread. Ran it through my Chat GPT editor in search of advice. It was the LLM’s brilliant suggestion to reorganize the piece as an academic paper.

“Execute”, I said, giving the AI permission to reorganize my piece and what it spit out far exceeded my expectations. In fact, looking upon what it had rendered, I realized to my dismay, that I could not improve upon it. Chat GPT had taken a rather clunky piece and turned it into a satirical gem. It’s not that I am too lazy to write something as good, I am not talented enough.
