Last week I was busy making revisions as per my copy editor’s directions while juggling several other projects.
Wrapped up “Winter Ghost” and submitted it for consideration for Raconteur Press’ upcoming Wyrd Warfare 3 anthology.
Sent my zombie story, “That Bites!” to Cardboard Coffin for their Childhood Fears anthology.
Submitted “Three Beats–Reanimating Hitler” to Brown Hound Press and received a record-speed rejection. Maybe the editor didn’t like the title. Fair.
Meanwhile, I have begun editing a 10,000-word sword – and – sorcery story for Campfire Publishing’s Savagery on the High Seas anthology.
I’m also writing “Locked Away”, a heist story for Cat’s Eye Press’ “Vault” theme.
Once I’m done submitting the two above works-in-progress, I have found a press suited for a couple of erotic fiction stories I have written.
Love how many submission opportunities are out there these days. I currently have a dozen short stories out for consideration, and my catalogue continues to grow by 1000+ words per day.
Meanwhile, I have a safe home on Substack where unwanted stories can find readers. This week it is The Spider from my Bleeding the Dark Humours collection:
